Founded in 1997, the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office Ceremonial Guard began with a goal of providing visitation, funeral and burial services for deceased employees. With a handful of members, the first two divisions created and over the coming years growing into several units including the Honor Guard, Color Guard, Rifle Battery,
Bugle Corp, National Anthem Singers and the Pipes & Drums.
The SCSO Ceremonial Guard consists of members from Patrol, Fugitive, General Investigations Bureau, Emergency Services, Reserve and Corrections.
Our mission remains focused on honoring our fallen and providing service to the families of fallen men and women of public safety.
INTERESED IN JOINING?
To be a member of the SCSO Ceremonial Guard representing the Color or Honor divisions you must be an active Shelby County Sheriff's Office Deputy or Corrections Deputy.
